Discovery Coaching, LLC (Contra Costa County, CA)
RestartZero ("RestartZero") connects to your Microsoft (and soon Google) mailbox, analyzes it by sender and folder, and lets you bulk clean up unwanted mail — without deleting anything until you tell it to.
By using RestartZero, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all disclaimers on this page.
To connect your mailbox, RestartZero asks Microsoft (via OAuth) for permission to read your mail and mailbox settings, and to move messages on your behalf. This is broader than "read-only" access: it includes the ability to move messages into your Deleted Items folder.
Every deletion action operates on an explicit, user-reviewed list of message IDs that you selected — RestartZero never runs a server-side "delete everything from this sender" command without you seeing and confirming what's being moved first.
Google mailbox support is on the way; when it launches, the same read-and-move-to-trash model will apply, scoped to Gmail's equivalent permissions.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use RestartZero. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your login with others. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Prohibited Use: You may not use RestartZero for any illegal purpose or in violation of these Terms, attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform beyond your own content, or attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
RestartZero offers a free tier. Additional features may be unlocked through a paid RestartWorks (Restart/Restart+) subscription managed at works.restart.coach — RestartZero does not separately collect payment or store your card details; billing, if any, happens through your RestartWorks account.
You Own Your Mail: Your email and mailbox belong to you. We claim no ownership rights over it.
We index certain metadata about your messages (sender, subject line, received date, read status, whether it has attachments, and which folder it's in) to power the analytics and cleanup views — we do not store the full body content of your emails. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Data Retention: We retain this indexed metadata as long as your account and mailbox connection are active. You may disconnect your mailbox, or delete your entire account and its data, at any time from within the app or by contacting us.
RestartZero — including the platform, design, branding, and all non-user-generated content — is owned by Discovery Coaching, LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use RestartZero for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Discovery Coaching, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of RestartZero — including any harm arising from a message being moved to Deleted Items that you did not intend to move — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event will our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to liability, or $100, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Discovery Coaching, LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of RestartZero, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any decisions you make about which messages to clean up.
How we collect, use, and protect your information — including what we index from your connected mailbox — is described in full in our Privacy Policy, which applies to RestartZero and all related applications operated by Discovery Coaching, LLC. By using RestartZero, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of RestartZero after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with notice when reasonably possible. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Contra Costa County, California.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Discovery Coaching, LLC regarding RestartZero.
No Waiver / Assignment: Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive it. You may not assign or transfer these Terms; we may assign them without restriction.
