This Privacy Policy applies to RestartZero and all related applications operated by Discovery Coaching, LLC (collectively, the "Services"). By using RestartZero, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here. This Policy works together with our Terms of Service.

1. What We Collect

Account information (email, name)
Message metadata from your connected mailbox: sender name and email, subject line, received date, read/unread status, whether it has attachments, and which folder it's in
Which messages you select for cleanup, and the resulting move-to-Deleted actions taken on your behalf
Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
Technical data (IP address, browser type, device info)
Your RestartWorks subscription tier/status, if you have a linked RestartWorks account (see Section 4)

2. Your Mailbox Access, Specifically

We store message metadata, not your email content. RestartZero indexes the subject line, sender, date, read status, attachment flag, and folder for each message so it can show you analytics and let you clean up by sender. We do not store the body/content of your emails.

Deletion is a move, not an erasure: when you clean up messages, RestartZero calls Microsoft's Graph API to move those specific, user-selected messages to your mailbox's own Deleted Items folder. They remain in your mailbox, recoverable there per your provider's own retention rules, exactly as if you'd deleted them yourself in Outlook or Gmail. RestartZero never permanently purges mail, and never runs a bulk "delete all from this sender" action without you first reviewing the specific messages involved.

Google mailbox support is on the way; the same metadata-only, move-not-erase model will apply once it launches.

3. How We Use It

To provide and improve the Services, including building your sender/folder analytics view
To carry out the specific cleanup (move-to-Deleted) actions you request
To communicate with you (account updates, support)
To analyze usage and fix bugs
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Microsoft (Microsoft Graph API): we connect to your Microsoft mailbox to read message metadata and mailbox settings, and to move messages to Deleted Items on your behalf. Microsoft's privacy policy applies to your mailbox itself.
Google: Google mailbox support is on the way, following the same model, subject to Google's privacy policy once live. If you sign in using Google or Microsoft today, we receive basic profile information (email, name) to create and authenticate your account.
RestartWorks (works.restart.coach): if you have a RestartWorks account, we make a secure, signed server-to-server request to look up your subscription tier and status, so paid RestartWorks features can unlock in RestartZero without you paying twice.

5. Data Security and Breach

Data Security and Breach — Read Carefully: We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data transmitted between your device and the Services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information.

No Liability for Data Breach: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you acknowledge and agree that Discovery Coaching, LLC, David Killion, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates (the "Released Parties") will not be liable for any unauthorized access to, acquisition of, disclosure of, alteration of, loss of, or use of your information resulting from any security incident, data breach, hacking, intrusion, system failure, or act of any third party, whether or not such event was foreseeable.

This section is in addition to, and does not limit, the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions in our Terms of Service, which also apply to all information you provide.

6. Data Retention

We retain your indexed message metadata as long as your account and mailbox connection are active. You may disconnect your mailbox at any time from within the app, or request deletion of your entire account and its data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at dave@thekillions.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

9. Children

The Services are not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
